Alicia from Hoboken Townery brings you this weekend’s events… I’m staying around Hoboken this weekend, and I cannot lie – extremely excited to be able to park on the street and get a table at brunch STAT (rather than waiting and waiting). Thanks Squan-goers for the extra space!

1. I actually really resent the above sign. I pseudo agree that cover bands don’t change the world…but they definitely make for an awesome Friday night. In that case…Friday night is the battle of the cover bands:

2. Saturday night, head over to Willow between 4th and 5th for the OLG Fest NightFest!  This fest features a biergarten, Spanish cuisine, and food, live entertainment. Sinatra Idol and Hoboken favorite Eric DeLauro will also be there. It’s def a chance to hang out and booze under the stars if you’re not at the beach.

…also:

3. Sunday afternoon is the next day of the fest called the 7th Annual OLG FunFest. This event — hosted by The Church of Our Lady of Grace and St. Joseph — will take place at Church Square Park on Willow Avenue, between Fourth and Fifth streets, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Lots of fun for kids and adults of all ages fo sho.

4. I just had to mention one of my fave hot spots: Every Friday at the West Five Supper Club is a $2 Power Hour from 10pm-11pm when you like them on Facebook! FYI the West Five Shuttle will pick you up anywhere in Hoboken. You just have to call: 201-665-9667. Dine Early, Dance Late is their motto. I likey.

…what will you be doing this weekend? Shore time or Hoboken time? Tweet me your plans!
